Responsabilities- In mutual consultation with colleagues, dividing work based on the input given by the Planner.
- Ensure the availability and collection of the total package of necessary information and tools (work instructions, drawing package, etc.)
- Ensure products meet quality, reliability and performance criteria through correct assembly, test integration and hand-over.
- Support troubleshooting, repair and re-work activities when assembly issues arise, and capture lessons for future production.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production, service) and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Assembling the various parts into a final product using work instructions and the tools available
- Solder joints where a very high degree of accuracy is required to ensure the proper functioning of the final product.
- Adjustment of mechatronic (mechanically electrical) assemblies
- Checking the (mechanical) instrumentation both hardware and software
- Carrying out checks of the final product and/or testing of products using appropriate measuring equipment
- Assisting R&D/Design to ensure designs are assembly-friendly (Design for Manufacturability) and support first-builds and pilot run activities.
- Material control of incoming goods for production
A Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in an assembly environment (mechanical/electrical/electronic) — preferably in instrumentation, high-precision manufacturing, analytical equipment or related industries.
Good understanding of mechanical, electronic and electromechanical systems, and ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and BOMs.
Proven track record of working in production/assembly and driving process improvements.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous.
Team player with strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
Willingness to occasionally support production testing, debugging or validation activities.
Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
