Overall Purpose of the Role
The Technical Fulfilment Supervisor plays a critical role within Fremantle's Global Media Operations team, overseeing the setup, management, and ongoing operation of ingest and fulfilment delivery profiles. This role bridges operational fulfilment, technical configuration, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring content is ingested, processed, and delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with Fremantle's global distribution requirements. The role demands strong technical broadcast expertise and strategic management ensuring that content is processed through an automated pipeline and distributed to spec. The outbound localisation vendor, distribution client, channel, or digital platform will drive the complexity; this role needs to fully understand supply chain architecture and LOBs.
Main Objectives of the Role
- Manage the technical fulfilment of requested assets and all ancillary elements to multiple endpoints within a SaaS Mam and orchestration environment.
- Troubleshoot ingest and delivery issues, including file failures, metadata errors, exceptions.
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Solution Architect on workflow design, platform enhancements, and technical best practices
- Support onboarding new platforms, partners, and delivery requirements into the system.
- Maintaining standard operating procedures, KPIs and SLAs.
- Ensure required reporting is maintained and regular collation of statistics for wider reporting
- Proactively initiate process change to ensure best practices are adopted
- Support testing, validation, and rollout of new features, workflows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Global Media Operations with broader strategic goals.
Knowledge and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in media asset management, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Proven experience in broadcast, digital and post-production media supply chains.
- Familiarity with quality control processes for broadcast media, including signal flow, transcoding, and file integrity verification.
- Expert knowledge of media formats, codecs, and distribution technologies
- Understanding of global localisation requirements, including subtitle formats (e.g. IMSC, TTML, SRT, STL, WebVTT) and dubbing conventions across international markets
- An understanding of the end-to-end Content Supply Chain
- Good understanding of Cloud based media workflows and media tooling required to support them
- Familiarity with AWS Infrastructure concepts, especially around large scale media storage in AWS S3
- The ability to prioritise in a time pressured environment, use initiative to proactively pre-empt challenges and find resolutions
- Comfortable with data-driven decision making and reporting
