Job Description – Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

As Procurement Manager, you are responsible for strategic and operational purchasing activities, ensuring material availability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance. You work closely with Project Management, Warehouse Operations, and the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement within the LOEWE Group.

This role is ideal for a hands-on procurement professional with experience in industrial or project-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Ensure timely procurement of materials according to technical specifications and project requirements
• Manage purchasing based on requirement forms from Project and Sales Managers
• Conduct price negotiations, supplier evaluations, and offer comparisons
• Support supplier contract management within defined negotiation frameworks
• Maintain supplier, article, and pricing data in the ERP system

Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

• Monitor stock levels and ensure material availability in cooperation with the Warehouse Manager
• Oversee correct inventory handling, both physically and within the ERP system
• Resolve delivery delays, shortages, and transport-related issues

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers on delivery schedules and project timelines
• Align procurement and logistics processes with warehouse operations
• Report purchasing performance and procurement topics to the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use of PPE
• Support environmentally responsible waste disposal
• Identify, report, and document unsafe situations or near-misses

Your Profile

• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Navision, or similar)
• Structured, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style
• Fluent English required; Dutch and/or German are an advantage
