We are looking for you, Technical Lead,to lead our Technical Team in the Product & Supply Chain Management organization in the Renewable Products business unit based in Hoofdorp, Netherlands.
You will focus on leading a global team of technical experts ensuring renewable products technically meet industry standards and customer requirements, providing technical support and guidance for sales, customers and logistics chain. In this role you will have insights into Neste Renewable business in general and be able to contribute to the quality of the products. Your work will require collaboration with a number of internal stakeholders working in three continents (e.g. Sales, Commercial Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Planning) as well as some external organizations. You will also participate in steering of product quality and technical performance related R&D work.
You will report directly to the Director, Product and Market Compliance, Renewable Products. You will be an integral part of an international expert team responsible for global renewable product portfolio management, technical product quality management, and product sustainability compliance. Your expertise will be crucial in making an immediate impact and securing our future commitments.

Your main responsibilities include- Lead a global team of technical experts.
- Build technical expertise for renewable fuels by visibility within the industry for global fuel specifications and fuel technical development.
- Coordinate technical support and guidance for internal stakeholders across three continents, including Sales, Commercial Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain Planning.
- Engage with external organizations related to renewable fuels as required.
- Participate in the steering of R&D efforts related to product quality and technical performance.
- Master’s degree in technology, engineering or business
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in relevant area (e.g. Renewable fuels, petroleum products)
- Commercial mindset with strong technical and operational background
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills for effective stakeholder management enabling active collaboration
- Good communication skills, ability to make complex technical topics easy to understand
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Fluency in English, Dutch or other languages are an advantage
- Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset
- Understanding of road transportation and aviation fuel product quality requirements and primary fuel specifications.
- Proven ability to drive operational improvements and efficiencies
- Experience and a network in the fuel technical ecosystems
