As a Senior SLAM CV Engineer you will be a part of a long-term R&D project and be a part of the team of talented scientists.
Key Responsibilities- Research, development and optimization SLAM algorithms tailored for unmanned systems.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Contribute to technical documentation and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and hardware teams to align SLAM development with project goals and timelines.
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine learning, Robotics, Aerospace engineering or related technical field.
- Extensive experience in SLAM algorithm development and deployment, with proven expertise in ORB SLAM2, ORB SLAM3, LSD SLAM or similar framework.
- Deep knowledge of open source libraries (OpenCV) and perception based solutions.
- Strong background in math, experience with state estimation.
- Hands‑on experience with C++ (preferably versions 17 or 20) or Python.
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) or other robotics middleware.
- Familiarity with sensor Fusion, Kalman filters and other common signal processing algorithms.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to think outside the box to develop innovative solutions.
- Hands‑on and practical approach.
- Effective communication skills.
- Adaptable and proactive in learning new technologies.
- Capable of contributing to documentation and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced development environment.
