The RoleYou’ll join a small, focused group of engineers building the foundations for our next generation of intelligent travel systems. Our team works at the intersection of backend systems, data architecture, and AI experimentation, where ideas turn into systems that will go on to impact millions. You’ll contribute across the stack, from data infrastructure and scalable APIs to AI-powered prototypes and integrations, blending solid engineering with fast learning and creative problem solving.
Examples of what you’ll work on include:
- Translating ambitious concepts and ideas into scalable backend and data systems.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data flows and storage systems across a variety of databases.
- Prototyping and validating AI concepts, from quick experiments to production-ready integrations.
- Developing and evolving data-powered services in Python.
- Collaborating closely with other engineers to bring bold ideas to life.

What You’ll Master HereYou don’t need to know all of this now. But you’ll work with, and learn deeply about:
- AI & Data Science: Recommender systems, natural language processing, machine learning, and data-driven experimentation.
- LLM-based systems: Model Context Protocol (MCP), LangChain, LangGraph, and AI-tools shaping the next era of travel systems.
- Backend Engineering: Programming (Python), Backend Frameworks (FastAPI), Object Relational Mappers (SQLAlchemy), Database Migrations (Alembic).
- Large-scale databases: OLTP (PostgreSQL), OLAP (ClickHouse), key–value stores (Redis), document stores (MongoDB) and vector stores (PgVector, Pinecone), search systems (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch).
- Distributed task processing and orchestration (Celery, Redis).
- ETL/ELT pipelines and data modelling.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.
- Co-own architecture and software that will go on to power millions of users.
