Technical Buyer | English & Dutch B2

In this position, you will be responsible for procuring technical and mechatronic machinery, parts and assemblies. Furthermore, you will be the key link between global suppliers and internal teams while also collaborating closely with departments such as Production, Engineering, and Logistics.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Identify suppliers on a national and international scale
• Negotiate and oversee purchasing agreements, terms, and conditions
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers
• Monitor market trends and developments relevant to procurement
• Pay strong attention to quality, cost-effectiveness, on-time delivery, and sustainable practices.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or similar level of knowledge gained through experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar buying, engineering or logistics role
• Fluent in English and Dutch in written and verbal correspondence (B2)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems and AI-driven procurement tools
• NEVI 1 certification or equivalent procurement training is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal abilities, critical thinking, and strategic decision-making
