This role requires someone with deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, DevOps, and security, and the strategic vision to plan, negotiate, and execute enterprise-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee cloud governance, drive automation through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), integrate Microsoft 365 with business applications, and manage a small IT team. They will also lead vendor negotiations and ensure the company’s infrastructure is secure, scalable, compliant, and future-proof.
Tasks
- Own and manage the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Azure AD/Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, Intune).
- Integrate Microsoft 365 with ERP systems & business apps (attendance systems, HR platforms, custom tools), enabling Teams as a unified collaboration hub.
- Lead the deployment and governance of Microsoft Copilot, configuring policies at company, department, and individual levels.
- Continuously audit cloud environments and recommend improvements to security, performance, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Infrastructure & IaC
- Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), ensuring environments are reproducible, secure, and version-controlled.
- Enforce network segmentation and Zero Trust principles across workloads.
- Establish disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies in cloud environments.
- DevOps & Multi-Tenant Pipelines
- Build and govern CI/CD pipelines across internal and third-party platforms.
- Automate API integrations and endpoint provisioning to streamline connectivity across systems.
- Introduce DevSecOps practices, embedding compliance and security checks into development lifecycles.
- Governance, Vendor & SLA Management
- Conduct cloud compliance and cost audits to align with relevant data protection regulations and optimize operational efficiency.
- Lead vendor negotiations and define service level agreements (SLAs)
- Serve as a strategic advisor on cloud risk posture, governance frameworks, and IT policies.
- Manage and mentor 2+ Jr Specialists, delegating tactical tasks while driving strategic direction.
- Oversee both hardware and software asset management, ensuring a complete, accurate inventory.
- Develop budgets and forecasts for cloud and IT infrastructure, balancing cost, scalability, and innovation.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud security frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
- Strong background in DevOps/DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Experience integrating MS365 with enterprise apps (attendance, HR, custom APIs).
- Skilled in vendor negotiation, SLA drafting, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to partner with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Architect Technologies (AZ-300/305)
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
