You will be based in **Waddinxveen, Coenecoop, The Netherlands**.In this role you expect you to lead and drive the business for Flow Control in the region and continue to develop our winning team. Our customers are the leading process industry companies in industries like Refining & Chemicals, Renewable Energy & Gases (including Hydrogen), Mining & Metals, CCUS and Pulp & Paper. You will also plan and execute the local business strategy in alignment with business lines and Europe market area.Building a high-performing sales and services team through motivating, coaching, developing, and inspiring must be your true strength. Your networking, influencing, and negotiation skills will allow you to easily interact and perform in a matrix structure. You are an adaptable person, and your change management skills will allow you to lead your team successfully even in a sometimes ambiguous environment.**Your responsibilities*** Driving above-market sales growth while maintaining strong profitability.* P&L and Net Working Capital responsibility for the local business.* Formulate and execute short- and long-term local business strategies in alignment with company strategy.* Continuous positive development of customer satisfaction.* Organization and people development based on strategy and market changes.* Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 sales and services professionals.* Promote, develop and role model health, safety and environment (HSE) practices within your team and at our Service Centre in Waddinxveen.* Tight collaboration with other business lines of Valmet locally.**To succeed in this role, you will need*** At least 10 years’ experience in a customer-facing role in the flow control industry.* At least 5 years’ managerial experience. Experience from managing managers is highly appreciated.* Understanding of how to drive business growth in a complex customer environment including end users, OEMs, licensors, integrators and/or international EPC customers.* Experience in managing an omnichannel go-to-market set-up including direct sales and channel partners.* High integrity, open and collaborative management style.* Demonstrated track record of business planning, forecasting and target setting in both short and long term.* Demonstrated ability to generate business growth and versatile understanding of revenue generation strategies and tactics.* Strong networking, influencing and interaction skills.* Experience from working in an international matrix organization.* Awareness of contract law with experience from (and success in) complex project contract negotiations.* Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch combined with analytical skills.* Demonstrated ability to attract, recruit and retain talent.* Relevant engineering education.**We offer** We offer you a great opportunity to make a difference in our Flow Control business in the BENELUX region, being supported by an international team.
