Your role:As a Solution Architect in our finance and banking domain, you will be responsible for designing future‑proof IT‑solutions and for guiding the DevOps teams during the implementation for digital platform banking. You will be part of the squad management triangle together with the product owner and tech lead and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure our IT solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and security. This position will work with the team both offshore and onshore across the countries.
Responsibilities:- Demonstrate an understanding of technology trends and the application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to support innovative and evolving architecture.
- Provide oversight and promote built‑in quality, ensuring teams develop high‑quality, well‑designed technical solutions.
- Utilize a robust engineering background to inform sound decisions in Solution Architecture.
- Design scalable microservices architectures for high‑load applications.
- Facilitate cross‑squad collaboration by applying shared architecture principles and adhering to Enterprise Architecture standards.
- Implement secure authentication mechanisms based on zero‑trust principles across digital channels.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and create solution designs that align with both enterprise and domain architecture standards.
- Develop detailed architectural documents, including solution designs and Project Start Architectures (PSA).
- Recognize cultural dynamics and motivate individuals to take initiative, guiding teams in effective problem‑solving.
- Ensure compliance with established architectural principles and guidelines.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT DevOps, with demonstrable exposure to Solution Architecture.
- Proficient in architecture modelling approaches and frameworks such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, or comparable methodologies.
- Experiences within a similarly regulated organization, with the capability to support DevOps teams in Information Security Management; including authoring security designs, developing disaster recovery plans, and conducting security assessments.
- Knowledge and practical experience in designing cloud‑native solutions, preferably on Azure.
- Well‑versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with OpenSearch, backends for frontends, and prior hands‑on development using Java or Kotlin is considered an advantage.
