Imagine building something that actually matters. Not another social app or e-commerce platform, but AI that autonomously manages billions in cloud infrastructure while engineers sleep.
We're Yasu, and we're tackling one of the biggest problems in tech: cloud waste. It's a €512B problem that's exploding with GenAI adoption, and we're the first to truly solve it with autonomous AI agents.
At Yasu, we prevent tomorrow's waste. Our platform doesn't wait for humans to interpret reports. It acts. Automatically. Safely. Successfully.
Our founding team brings deep expertise: an ex-AWS sales leader who has taken multiple teams from 0 to $100M in revenue, and an expert AI architect who's built and shipped complex AI systems from 0 to production 3x. We're backed by some of the leading VCs.

Tasks
- Be the FinOps brain inside our agentic system. Your patterns, your judgment, your rules — encoded into agents that run across every customer.
- Own the customer outcome. Get on calls with our customers' Platform and Cloud teams, find the savings, prove them in production.
- Push the autonomy frontier with guardrails. Decide what's safe for agents to fix on their own. Design the policies that make customers trust autonomous action in production.
- Shift cost left. Build the engine that catches expensive infrastructure decisions in the PR, not the invoice. Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation.
- Feed the agents. Every customer engagement becomes a new optimization pattern, encoded into our multi-agent system so the next 100 customers benefit automatically.
Requirements
You're a great fit if you
- Have 4+ years hands-on in cloud cost optimization. You've personally cut six or seven figures of cloud spend.
- Live in the console and the IaC repo, not in slides. You know which workloads should never run on-demand.
- Write code to automate your work. Python, Bash, whatever fits. You don't click through 80 accounts.
- Know IaC properly. Terraform at minimum, ideally Bicep or CloudFormation too.
- Communicate like an engineer to engineers. You can run a working session with a Head of Platform, find savings in their console live, and write the runbook by EOD.
- Move fast and ship. Bias for action. You fix what you find.
- Use AI tools daily. Claude, Cursor, agents.
Bonus points for
- Background at AWS, GCP, Azure, or a high-growth infrastructure or DevOps tooling company
- Owned real FinOps numbers inside a mid-market or enterprise company
- Open source contributions in cloud, IaC, or FinOps
- FinOps certification (nice to have, your savings portfolio matters more)
- Early engineer at a startup before
Benefits
- Competitive Dutch market salary
- Meaningful founding-engineer equity (ESOP)
- Hybrid/flexible. We care about output, not hours logged
- Paid time off and company holidays
- Direct line to the founders. You shape the product, the roadmap, and the engineering culture
- Laptop, headphones, merch, company BBQs
The Anti-Pitch
We're not for everyone.
- If you're a FinOps process consultant this is an engineering role. We build software.
- If you want a polished playbook handed to you, you'll hate it here
- If you want work-life balance, join after our Series B
- If you prefer meetings over shipping, we're not a fit
- If "optimizing cloud cost" sounds boring to you, please don't apply
