Bar Kantoor is the most cozy 100% organic restaurant in Amsterdam! Our top team, consisting of about 10 people, is ready for our guests from early in the morning until late at night. Whether they come for breakfast, coffee, lunch, drinks or dinner; it's all prepared with love in our 100% electric kitchen and bar. Sustainable entrepreneurship is something we are very familiar with. We therefore only work with seasonal products and local suppliers.

What you will do
Work with the team to create delicious dishes with a focus on vegetables
Assist with placing orders, and handling HACCP and related administration
Support the Head Chef in menu creation, offering input as needed
Aid in the purchasing process and assist with managing ingredient orders
Participate in procurement planning and support maintaining good relationships with suppliers
As a conscientious Sous Chef, work to minimize waste
Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and add fun to the kitchen environment
Personal qualities and job requirements
You have a passion for cooking and delighting guests
You have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or are ready to advance in your kitchen career
Interest in organic and sustainable trends
Available full-time; some flexibility for days off can be discussed
Knowledge of HACCP is required
Ideally, you live in or near Amsterdam
Proficiency in English is required; Dutch is a plus
