Dit is jouw rol

As a Lead Software Engineer in the Consumer Data Platform team, you'll be working at the heart of customer interaction. With your team, you help define the architecture of our AWS-based serverless data platform. You design and build scalable, cloud-native solutions like ETL pipelines, APIs, and event-driven data flows. You'll build features like personalised suggestions for all our online channels, delivery options based on historical data, and data flows for personalised email campaigns.

An important part of the role is mentoring and coaching to your fellow engineers. You guide them on technical decisions, CI/CD processes, and the continuous improvement of our delivery pipelines. You'll collaborate closely with other teams in the Consumer IT landscape and ensure our platform aligns with strategic business goals

You'll be part of the Consumer Data Platform team within the Consumer Engineering department. Your platform plays a central role in the Consumer Department and supplies other teams with relevant and personalised data at the right time for more than 10 million consumers. The team consists of eight colleagues: a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Solution Consultant, Test Analyst, and three Data Engineers. There's an open culture where sharing knowledge and learning from each other is key. You'll work together to continuously improve the platform, guided by a serverless-first mindset.

You're a tech-savvy leader with vision. You combine deep technical knowledge with leadership and know how to guide a team to the next level - both technically and personally.

You also have the following qualities:

• You have experience designing cloud-native ETL solutions using Python and SQL.
• You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• You know how to work with event-driven architecture and microservices.
• You have experience mentoring and coaching technical teams.
• You're comfortable with building Serverless solutions on top of Amazon Web Services (AWS); we use Lambda, Glue, Athena, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, and other similar products offered, and CDK to manage & deploy our

  services.
