We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Officer to support our growing team. This role focuses on local recruitment, employee relations, compliance with Dutch labor law, and communication with external agencies. You will play a key role in building a healthy, efficient, and legally compliant HR environment.
Tasks
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for local positions: job postings, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
- Handle the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, contract management, leave tracking, and offboarding
- Ensure HR operations and policies comply with Dutch labor law and company standards
- Serve as the contact point with external partners (e.g. Tax office, social security, recruitment platforms)
- Support employee relations by addressing day-to-day issues and fostering a positive work environment
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and personnel records
- Contribute to HR initiatives such as performance reviews, employee engagement, and internal communication projects
Requirements
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written); Mandarin is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR or a related field
- Solid understanding of Dutch labor legislation and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with HR systems or tools
