Enthusiastic Lean Six Sigma Black Belt who will help in the Vehicle Development organization to solve complex technical defects, reduce risks, set direction and lead the way to breakthrough improvements in product and process quality.
De functieThe Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is a change agent for process and quality improvement. You are responsible for deploying and embedding quality concepts and continuous improvement tools across our business.
You will also be responsible for promoting and communicating (within the assigned work area) the Lean Six Sigma philosophy and methodologies. You develop and improve methods and tools to promote working according to standards at all levels of the organization. Next to that you act as 'change manager' in order to achieve a continuously improving organization in which people are central.
Your work is diverse and includes:
- Apply Lean Six Sigma and Structured Problem Solving Methods to improve process capability and eliminate complex defects
- Lead multiple cross-functional teams and transfer best practices, Lean Six Sigma techniques, procedures and tools
- Provide analysis and feedback to the manager on project activities, improvements, and savings
- Maintain an overview of the implications of process changes to the various processes of the Vehicle Development teams and the various cross-functional teams
- You can also be deployed to manage and/or support more complex projects within Vehicle Development
- Supporting the master black belt in providing training for Lean, Green, Black and DFSS belts and support Lean, Green and DFSS belts in the Vehicle Development organization.
The department Quality & Reliability Vehicle Development is responsible to achieve and maintain Quality, Reliability and Safety. Further we set our goal for achieving ISO 26262 and ASPICE Level 2. The department consists of nine enthusiastic professionals which cover; Quality Management, Six Sigma Support, Reliability Engineering and PPS (PACCAR Production System). In our team we have an open position for a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

As an Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, you have a Bachelor degree in a technical direction or equivalent and 5+ years of work experience, preferably in the Automotive industry. Also you have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- You are experienced in quality methods and tools like 6 Sigma, 5 Why’s analysis, Kaizen, brainstorming sessions, problem solving techniques, FMEA, 8D, A3, Ishikawa diagrams
- You understand structured product development processes
- You are able to coach and develop people when transferring your knowledge
- You have the willingness to learn and grow continuously, both personally and professionally and have a strong results orientation
- Your English is excellent and Dutch is a strong pre
- Having a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is a pre
