For our Housekeeping team we are currently looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and service-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to reinforce our team on a full-time or part-time basis from June/July until November 2025.
Hilton Amsterdam is a renowned property with 271 hotel rooms, 21 banquet rooms, authentic Italian restaurant and a nautical style bar at a unique location. Famous for John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1969 ‘bed-in for peace' and Hilton's first hotel in The Netherlands. The iconic hotel is built on the baseline of Plan Zuid, a district designed by prominent architect Berlage, which highlights the Amsterdam School of architecture and contains boutiques, designer shops and couture houses.

Job description
Within this position, your main tasks will be both in guest rooms and public areas:
· Cleaning the guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the highest Hilton standards
· Vacuuming the guest rooms and corridors
· Cleaning the public areas for guests and the back of house areas for team members
· Changing and replenishing bed linen, towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
· Taking part in regular deep cleaning projects, both in guest rooms and in public areas
· Restocking and maintaining your trolley on daily basis
· Following correct procedures for waste disposal
· Managing guests’ requests in a timely and efficient manner
· Complying with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
· Carrying out lost property procedures
· Assisting the Housekeeping management team and supporting other departments wherever necessary
Required skills and competences
For this position, we are looking for an organized, pro-active and involved Housekeeping enthusiast with the following attitude and skills.
· You are committed to delivering high levels of guest service
· You act with integrity and honesty to support the culture, values and mission of Hilton
· Excellent communication skills required in English, Dutch speaking skills are preferred
· Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
· You are available both during the week and the weekend for morning and evening shifts
· Experience in a housekeeping position in a luxury hotel is preferred
· Experience in the linen room would be a benefit
