Change & Transformation Manager
You are responsible for supporting the change activities of transformation programs in Vanderlande Technology, which will involve shaping, contributing and monitoring transformation plans. In this role as change manager you define the approach, in line with the Vanderlande Change Management approach and you deploy these accordingly. Your change activities are meant to support our people in their change journeys and drive a sustainable transformation.
Within Vanderlande transformation & change management is relatively new to the organization and a fast growing discipline. You have the opportunity to leave your mark on change in the organization, since you will be steering the change approach to the next level. You have the ability to implement creative and proven change activities with effect.
You will be part of the Corporate Strategy and Transformation (CST) team of Vanderlande Technology, reporting into the Head of Corporate Strategy & Transformation.
In this role, you have the following responsibilities
Support the deployment of the Change Management capability building programme, aligned to the Vanderlande change model, to equip the transformation network and drive the required change, thereby increasing embracing change throughout the organization to deliver and embed our transformation initiatives.
Shape and deliver communications and change efforts aimed at breaking down silos across transformation to create a transformation community that is equipped to deliver on our transformation aspirations.
Foster a collaborative and cohesive team culture within the Transformation network that promotes 'learn, share, reapply', horizontal learning, and recognizes and celebrates success.
Advise initiative owners/transformation leads on Change & Communications to effectively deploy their Transformation programmes/objectives.
Act as a sounding board to Transformation Leads and provide strategic Change & Communications advice.
Propose and implement opportunities for continuous improvement of tools to empower the function to communicate and plan for change activities.
Developing change management and communication deliverables such as stakeholder maps, impact analysis, communication decks.
Track, report completion of change deliverables, signal and anticipate on risk and roadblocks to the Transformation Leads.
Managing communications to the Leadership Team and People Managers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Long-standing experience (5-10 years) working in change management, change communications, program/project management, transformation programs or communication related field.
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and excellent active listening skills
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies (e.g. Prosci ADKAR, 6 batteries of change, etc.) and related tools.
Knowledge of and experience in change communications
Proven ability to be independent contributor with experience in managing communications processes across complex organizations
Structured, organized and stress resilient personality able to quickly understand the issues and find countermeasures
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
Team player with ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
An excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written). Dutch or other languages would be advantageous.
Master degree ideally in Business Administration, International Business or Strategic Management.
