Financial institutions increasingly acknowledge that employee behaviour and organisational culture can greatly impact the soundness, risk profile, and integrity of financial institutions like ours. Therefore in 2021 the department Risk Culture & Behavioural Risk (RC&BR) was established with the aim drive a sound risk culture that reflects the dynamic business and regulatory environment ING operates in.
The RC&BR departments is a Center of Expertise responsible for:
Driving a sound risk culture by providing a clear vision, aligned strategy and methodological approach to identify, assess and bring change with regards to how employees act on risks.
Creating and driving the ING learning programmes that support training and development on all risk areas (financial, non-financial and compliance) through a comprehensive offering of learning modules and learning channels.
Monitoring the progress of ING's Risk Culture by developing and maintaining the risk culture maturity model and the risk culture monitoring dashboard.
Running behavioral risk assessments across the bank and developing interventions to mitigate the identified risks.
Roles & responsibilities
We are looking for an energetic, creative and delivery-oriented Business manager to support the RC&BR management team.
As Business Manager your responsibilities include:
the preparation of communications and presentations for various internal and external key stakeholders, including conferences, panels, presentations
preparation and facilitation of MT meetings and employee gatherings
coordination and organization of RC&BR MT offsites
coordination and implementation of Non Financial Risk framework within RC&BR including Key Control Testing
coordination of the dynamic planning process
coordination of the Business Plan which provides direction to team
suggesting and implementing improvements to processes and ways of working
acting as a sparring partner and soundboard to the Global Head of Behavioural Risk management
acting as a linking pin with other departments and internal stakeholders
being the point of contact for a range of topics and determine their impact on stakeholders and the action to be taken
How to succeed
You are an excellent communicator and creative in engaging varied audiences effectively. You know how to generate inspiring communiques, presentations and short and snappy briefings and reports in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
You embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment
You are comfortable with change and a self-starter
You are comfortable in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
You have great organizational skills, a structured way of working and attention to detail
A 'can do' mentality, proactive, resourceful and willing to go the extra mile
Able to manage own work and set own priorities
Inspire and empower other people by demonstrating trust, openly valuing their expertise and clearly stating your expectations
Your Profile
Master degree will be considered a plus (preferably in business administration, finance or similar field)
Solid understanding of project / program management
Cultural- and organizational sensitivity
An entrepreneurial attitude
Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
