Join the IT Security team within CTO/PSS and take responsibility for IT Security and regulatory compliance in relation to PSS's IT landscape. This role focuses on risk consultancy and coordination of first line risk management activities. The IT security Engineer function in general is a versatile job allowing you to interact with all layers of the PSS Tech organisation as well as the PSS organization, internal and external audit and other parties within ING. As an IT Security Engineer, you will participate in discussions and drive the integration of IT Security in the DevOps way of working.
The team
As part of the IT Security team, you will play a key role in implementing IT Security capabilities and promoting security and risk awareness throughout PSS. You will collaborate with team members to achieve set goals and resolve issues. You will also be challenging the quality of the proposed evidences of compliance as drafted by Devops teams. This role involves working with DEVOPS engineers, policy writers, and global capability providers. Your insights will contribute to defining improvement proposals and implementing them in collaboration with the Information Security Guilds and other stakeholders.
Roles and responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in IT security control area(s) (IAM/PFS/SMO/ORS/CyR)
- Conduct IT & Security Risk Assessments
- Drive Control Implementations
- Review and adapt Key Control Testing results
- Automate and simplify IT Security Controls

- Design technical (Security) solutions
- Bachelor's or university degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Experience in IT audit or a Risk Management function
- Track record of issue ownership and resolution
- Certification in Security and Risk (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
