As an Agile coach, together with a team of 70 Agile specialists, you make a crucial contribution to one of the largest Agile Transformations in the Europe. Are you looking for the next step after several years of experience as Agilist or Agile Transformation consultant? Then we are looking for you!
You & your role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Agile coach with a growth mindset and the drive to let the organization flourish. Will you help Rabobank transform to become faster, more digital, and more client-focussed? And do you dare to make a difference by stepping in at different levels of the organization? With Rabobank's Agile scaling framework 'Simplify@Scale' you enable the success of Rabobank's digital transformation. From Senior leadership to Scrum Masters and Product Owners; you coach, consult and guide on what is needed to further develop Rabobank into a professional Agile organization at scale.
As an Agile coach you are part of the Chapter Digital Transformation. You work in one of Rabobank's Simplify@Scale Domains and coach your stakeholders in their strategical and tactical challenges. As an Agile coach you require a strong conceptual knowledge of Agile, a collaborative and proactive attitude, good coaching skills and a helicopter view. You actively work on further embedding and developing the Simplify@Scale framework for Rabobank and on specific coach assignment within your Domain.
Specifics for this vacancy
The Domain Retail NL is responsible for all Rabobank services and products for the Dutch market. The products in this domain are for example mortgages, loans, online banking, insurance and payment services. The Tribes that are responsible for these products and services cover the whole spectrum from product management, defining policy to building and maintaining platforms and software. Because this domain encompasses the core banking processes of the Rabobank, the business challenges are impactful and complexity and priority are high. The Domain Retail NL started their Digital Transformation journey quite some time ago, and are now at the point that the digitization is or becoming their strategic advantage in the Dutch banking market. These factors make for a fast moving and inspiring environment where a strong conceptual knowledge of Agile at scale and DevOps combined with a proactive attitude and affinity with business operations are a must.
Assignment examples
- Implementing the Simplify@Scale heartbeat on all levels of the Domain and helping triangles (leadership) with their roles and responsibilities in the heartbeat events
- Guiding and supporting Product Owners on all levels to improve their Product management skills and -vision and quantifying & measuring business value
- Continuous improvement of refinement and backlog management on all levels
You & your talent:
- You have experience with scaled Agile (preferably Simplify@Scale)
- You are an expert in Agile and contribute from your coaching skills
- You master the English language. It's a pre if you are fluent in Dutch
- You have experience with complex problem solving
- You exhibit a growth mindset and like to learn from feedback
- You have what it takes to convince professionals
- You know how to hold your own in different contexts and always have your sights set on the continuous improvement of organizations
- You work as a trusted advisor to your stakeholders and identify possible improvements pro-actively
- You actively carry out systemic interventions and recognize group dynamics in teams and triangles and know how to intervene in the undercurrent to improve team work
- You encourage the Rabobank organization to use Agile to achieve maximum results for the customer
- You make impact by growing the Rabobank organization with our Simplify@Scale framework
- You have an above average interest in change management and enjoy being involved in the overall business strategy.

Below you will find an overview of the different scales for this position:
Agile coach (B)
- scale 9 - up to € 90.000 gross per year
- 3 years or more of relevant work experience
- scope: coaching Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Area leadership
Agile coach (C)
- scale 10 - up to € 107.000 gross per year
- at least 5 years or more of relevant work experience
scope: coaching Area and Tribe leadership, owner of transformation tools & topics
Enterprise Agile coach (D)
- scale 11 - up to € 125.000 gross per year
- at least 10 years or more of relevant work experience
- scope: coaching tribe (transcending) leadership in complex tribes, supporting Domain Agile coach, owner of transformation topics and thought leadership regarding scaled Agile and Simplify@Scale
This is what we offer you for each role
- a budget of € 750 to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40
- a personal development budget of € 1,400
- a combination of working from home and at the office
- 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport
- a pension scheme to which you contribute 3.5% or 5.5% (based on your own preference)
- 178.2 hours holiday per year including 1 Diversity Day per year
