Aviation Business Consultant

What you will do as Aviation Business Consultant

You work with our multidisciplinary team of consultants, analysts, specialists, planners, engineers, and architects to present our clients with advice supported by data and specialist knowledge. For example, you:

  • Carry out market analyses, developing long-term projections of air traffic activity.
  • Develop cost-revenue analysis and work on complex models supporting various assignments for airports.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses and synthetize your observations into clear and insightful conclusions.
  • Communicate deliverables and results internally and to clients.

You also use your experience to coach and mentor junior staff or starters into your field of work and help shape our aviation business planning team.

Where you will work

As Aviation Business Consultant you will become part of the Business Unit Aviation. This is one of the smaller and more boutique units and consists of our worldwide renowned consultancy brand NACO. We are a world-leading airport consultancy and engineering firm with over 70 years' of experience working in the aviation and air transport industry - from major landmark designs to smaller regional airports. As an Aviation Business Consultant, you will become a part of the Strategic Advisory Team and will work for our clients worldwide.

 

Our highly motivated team, part of Royal HaskoningDHV, collaborates closely to deliver full-spectrum, integrated engineering-, strategic- and management consultancy services related to airport and aviation development all over the globe. We run our aviation business from our "head office" in The Hague, in The Netherlands.

What you bring

Working in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams spread across different countries is no problem for you. Besides that, you have:

  • 3 to 5 years' work experience of which a considerable time in a similar (analytical) role within either consultancy or transportation industry. Prior experience in aviation and/or familiarity with the industry`s current challenges is an advantage;
  • A master's level university degree with a background in finance, econometrics, transportation or logistics;
  • Advanced competency with MS-Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, affinity with modelling and simulations;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; you are able to present your work in a structured clear and graphical way;
  • Prior experience and knowledge of business intelligence tools, such as Tableau and/or Power BI, is an advantage.
