The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND HLTA to join a specialist school in Fakenham. This role is available with an immediate start, initially until the Easter half term, with the potential to extend through to July 2026.

Responsibilities:
* Deliver targeted learning support to individuals and small groups under the guidance of teaching staff
* Support pupils with a range of learning disabilities and additional needs
* Assist with planning and delivering adapted learning activities
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
* Support classroom management and day-to-day running of lessons
* Work closely with teachers, SEND teams, and pastoral staff
* Encourage independence, confidence, and personal development in pupils
* Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
Requirements:
* Experience working in a UK school within the last 3 years
* Experience supporting children or young people with learning disabilities or SEND
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (desirable)
* Patient, calm, and consistent approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
