Role Highlights
Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum.
Establish a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom where all pupils feel supported and encouraged to succeed.
Promote pupils' academic progress alongside their social and emotional development.
Adapt and differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners across a range of abilities.
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment effectively to inform future teaching.
Encourage positive behaviour, independence, confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities, trips, events, and school initiatives.
About You
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching within a UK primary school setting, with KS1 or KS2 experience desirable.
Have a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
Be enthusiastic, nurturing, adaptable, and committed to high-quality teaching.
Have excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
Be passionate about helping children achieve their academic and personal potential.
Have high expectations for learning, behaviour, and pupil development.
Be able to work effectively as part of a collaborative school team.
ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive appropriate induction, mentoring, and support.
