Key Responsibilities
Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil with additional learning needs
Assist with classroom activities and adapt tasks where required
Encourage participation, confidence, and independence throughout the school day
Support the implementation of individual learning and behaviour plans
Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to meet the pupil's needs
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to teaching staff
Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate
Experience working with children or young people is desirable
Patient, caring, and supportive approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to remain calm and adaptable in different situations
Understanding of SEND is beneficial but not essential
Positive attitude and willingness to support pupils' individual needs
Reliable and committed to making a difference in education
