Our client, a reputable independent commercial vehicle dealership in Tredegar, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team. Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
No weekend work required, with optional Saturday work paid as overtimeDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Diagnose faults efficiently and accurately on light commercial and 4x4 vehicles
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards as a Vehicle Technician
Report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance issues to the Workshop Controller
Adhere to health & safety and quality procedures at all times
Contribute to a team environment by sharing knowledge and mentoring less experienced colleagues
Ensure a high standard of workmanship in a busy franchise-approved dealership setting
Assist in achieving team targets and maintaining customer satisfactionRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Qualification to IMI/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum)
At least 3 to 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
A committed, team-oriented individual with a ‘mentor mindset’ keen to share expertise
Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
