The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An exciting opportunity to join a global healthcare business developing innovative medical technologies supporting Women's Health and Fertility solutions. This is a hands-on R&D engineering role focused on the design, development and improvement of advanced electro-mechanical medical devices.
Candidates MUST already be based in Cornwall or willing to relocate to Cornwall at their own expense.
The Role:
You'll join a collaborative R&D team working on next-generation medical devices, supporting both new product development and sustaining engineering activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Design and development of electrical and electronic systems
Circuit schematic design and PCB layout (Altium or similar)
Verification & validation testing of medical devices
EMC & electrical safety compliance (IEC 60601)
Hardware/software integration and debugging
Prototype development, testing and troubleshooting
Technical documentation, protocols and reports
Cross-functional collaboration with global engineering teams
What We're Looking For:
Degree qualified in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or similar
Experience in electronic design within medical devices or regulated industries
Strong analog and digital circuit design experience
PCB design experience using Altium or similar tools
Experience with verification testing and design documentation
Hands-on engineering mindset with prototyping and debugging skills
Knowledge of DFMA and product development processes
Firmware development experience highly desirable
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
