The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Production Process Engineer to work on a full-time permanent basis in Great Yarmouth.
Role Summary:
Working in a clean manufacturing environment where the highest quality standards are observed, you will work as part of the Engineering team to improve processes, procedures, and efficiency of the team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identify and manage projects related to production engineering equipment that will enhance operational performance.
* Conduct studies to understand and optimize process efficiency, cycle times, bottlenecks, and equipment maintenance, with the goal of improving OEE.
* Proactively contribute to component and product improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency and quality.
* Support engineering change controls, non-conformance investigations, CAPAs, and documentation updates.
* Assist the Production Engineering Team in resolving issues affecting equipment efficiency.
* Support the Production Engineering Team in enhancing overall effectiveness through refined processes, documentation, tooling, housekeeping, and training.
* Support the project handover process for capital projects to ensure a smooth transition to the engineering team.
* Prepare robust financial justifications for proposed improvements and changes.
* Undertake equipment modifications where necessary and carry out testing to verify that desired outcomes have been achieved.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Minimum level 4 qualification in a technical or engineering discipline.
* Proven track record of successfully leading machine design or machine improvement projects, preferably within a production environment.
* Background in FMCG or pharmaceutical manufacturing with exposure to packaging and production equipment is advantageous.
* Competent user of Microsoft Office suite with strong IT skills.
* Experience with CAD software is desirable.
* Self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively train colleagues.
* Strong commitment to working safely and maintaining controlled, methodical work practices.
Working Hours and Benefits:
* This will be a full-time permanent position, working days.
