The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We have a fantastic part time opportunity for an Office & Business Support Administrator in our client's Basingstoke office.
This is a varied office-based role where you will be joining a company with an outstanding reputation for developing its people and delivering exceptional client service.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors, supporting the smooth running of the office, and providing administrative assistance across multiple departments.
What you'll be doing
Welcoming clients and visitors while managing the reception area.
Answering and directing incoming calls.
Booking meeting rooms and preparing refreshments for visitors.
Supporting the day-to-day running of the office, including stationery ordering, office supplies and liaising with landlords and contractors regarding maintenance.
Organising repairs for office equipment.
Managing incoming and outgoing post, including forwarding client correspondence.
Providing administrative support across multiple departments.
Scanning, filing, archiving and maintaining electronic and paper records.
Preparing client account packs and other documentation.
Assisting with general office administration and ad hoc projects.
About you
You'll be a proactive office administrator who enjoys being organised and who takes pride in delivering excellent service.
You'll also have:
Previous administration or office support experience within a busy environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills.
A positive, flexible and team-oriented approach.
Experience with CCH or IRIS Docs would be an advantage but isn't essential.
