This is a role suited to someone with mechanical fitting experience, as you will be supporting machine build, fitting, maintenance and site-based engineering work.

What will you be doing as a Machine Build Fitter?
* Supporting machine build and mechanical fitting work
* Carrying out general maintenance fitting duties
* Working on mainly mechanical and some electrical tasks
* Marking out work areas and keeping them clean
* Polishing, grinding and fettling components
* Using manual milling equipment when required
* Carrying out precision fitting work
* Supporting basic fault finding
* Changing sockets and assisting with simple electrical tasks
* Working on site when required, including travel to customer locations
* Supporting machinery resets and roller adjustments
What will you need?
* Previous mechanical fitting or machine build experience
* Basic fault-finding ability
* A flexible, hands-on approach to engineering work
* Willingness to support site-based work when required
