The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated manufacturing in Corby.
This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice-trained engineer with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience to work within a modern, automated FMCG warehouse environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining highly automated equipment, responding to breakdowns and supporting the ongoing reliability and efficiency of the site.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across highly automated warehouse and production equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
Support breakdown response to minimise downtime.
Carry out preventative maintenance and contribute to improving equipment reliability.
Fault-find on automated systems and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
Work safely and follow site engineering and health & safety procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
NVQ Level 3 in Multi-Skilled Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar maintenance engineering role.
An apprentice-trained engineering background.
Previous experience working within an FMCG automated warehouse or highly automated manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
