The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the role…
As a Trenchless Lining Technician (Operative), you will play a key role in the safe and effective delivery of trenchless rehabilitation works, helping to restore and extend the life of critical drainage infrastructure through CIPP lining and patch repair solutions.
Working closely with Lining Engineers and operational teams, you’ll support the preparation, installation and inspection of lining works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role that involves operating specialist equipment, preparing materials and carrying out CCTV surveys to verify successful installations.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the installation of CIPP lining and patch repairs across a variety of drainage networks
Preparing, handling and mixing resins in line with company procedures and safety requirements
Setting up and operating specialist equipment including inversion drums, curing systems, winches and CCTV survey equipment
Assisting with lining installation, inflation, curing and cooling activities
Carrying out pre and post-installation CCTV inspections and recording accurate footage for assessment
Maintaining safe working practices, including confined space operations and safe resin handling
Cleaning, maintaining and preparing vehicles, tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness
Loading and unloading materials and equipment to support efficient project delivery
Identifying and reporting equipment defects, safety concerns and installation issues
Working collaboratively with the wider team to improve processes, efficiency and service delivery
About you…
You’ll be a motivated and practical individual with experience in drainage, utilities, construction or a similar operational environment. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in the quality of your work and be committed to maintaining the highest safety standards.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience in drainage works, ideally patching and lining or as a Drainage Operative
CSCS and/or EUSR accreditation
Confined Space certification
Experience operating drainage or lining equipment, CCTV systems or similar specialist tools
An understanding of CIPP lining and patch repair techniques, or a willingness to learn
Knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements within operational environments
A full UK Driving Licence
