What you'll be doing:
* Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out scheduled and reactive general maintenance tasks, assisting with keeping technical areas clean, safe and operational.
* Preventative Checks: Conducting routine inspections, meter readings and servicing to prevent breakdowns.
* Portable Appliance testing.
* Fire Alarm & Emergency light testing
* Completing tasks efficiently and moving between jobs as priorities change.
* Responding to service desk requests in line with site KPI's
* Completing any reasonable request to support the site operations.
* Compliance: Following health & safety regulations and maintaining standards.
* Site Support: Support the technical services department escort and supervise contractors on site
What we're looking for:
* Ability to pass DBS check
* Experience using hand/power tools, ability to complete simple building fabric repairs and maintenance
* Experience identifying issues and finding practical solutions with support of the maintenance team.
* Dexterity, coordination, and physical fitness.
* Communication, teamwork, time management, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
* Competence with basic software and documentation.
