Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the county’s largest environmental charity, committed to the protection and enhancement of Norfolk’s wildlife and wild places.
About You and the Role
Norfolk Wildlife Trust owns and manages a diverse range of sites across Norfolk including the Trust’s nature reserves (around 50), 5 visitor centres and HQ at Bewick House in Norwich. The trust has more than 70 staff as well as 500 volunteers working across the organisation.
Norfolk Wildlife Trust owns and maintains a public car parking area at its nature reserve at Holme Dunes. The post holder will be based at the entrance track to this car park and holds approx. 60 cars. The attendant will be required to manage the car park and collect car parking and reserve fees and will also be expected to engage generally with visitors and provide information about the nature reserve.
By providing a friendly welcome and information so promoting a professional image of the trust, we seek to increase Trust income from parking fees, donations and reserves permit sales and gift aid entry alongside increasing membership
The hours for this role will be on a casual basis and will reflect our seasonal changes.
