What will you be doing?
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll work closely with our experienced Recruitment Consultants to sell our services to contractors and find and engage candidates for roles across the construction industry within a definded geographical area.
Your day will be varied, busy and people-focused.
You'll be:
* Speaking to clients over the phone and visiting construction sites, building relationships and selling our services
* Speaking to candidates over the phone and building relationships.
* Searching for and identifying suitable candidates.
* Learning about different construction roles, trades and the industry.
* Matching candidates with suitable job opportunities.
* Registering candidates and keeping records up to date.
* Advertising vacancies and attracting new candidates.
* Developing long-term relationships with candidates and clients
* Using recruitment databases, job boards and other systems.
* Having a social media presence.
* Conducting RTW checks on workers.
And as your confidence and experience grow, so will your responsibilities.

Recruitment experience isn't essential.
We welcome applications from people looking to start their first career in recruitment, as well as candidates from sales, customer service, telesales, administration or other people-focused backgrounds. If you come from a construction or trade background this could also be equally advantageous although construction experience at the outset is not essential.
