The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in all areas of building maintenance, demonstrating the ability to carry out repairs and general maintenance efficiently.
This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our reactive maintenance service offer, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to high-quality service.
Our scope of works are based in the Nottinghamshire area.
Duties
* Carry out planned and reactive works within the agreed timeframes and to the highest standard, complying with current regulations and clients’ specifications
* Working either as part of the maintenance team completing small maintenance activities or working independently on minor tasks without supervision
* Undertake a range of maintenance repairs including carpentry, painting, locks, basic plumbing
* Deliveries of material between sites and local suppliers
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs conducted on a PDA system.
* Observing the highest levels of health and safety at all times and ensure the best possible working practices are adhered.
Skills
* Strong knowledge/ experience (minimum 5 years) of generalist maintenance with the ability to troubleshoot and carry out repairs
* Will be comfortable working at height.
* Skilled CSCS Card or original Qualifications, or demonstrable experience in industry.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
* UK Driving Licence Essential.
General Information
We offer 20 days + Bank Holidays Annual Leave allowance
Hours: Mon – Friday – Standard Shift 8 – 4, there may be a requirement for occasional weekend work
