Level 2 Nursery Practitioner – Totton Day Nursery

Location: High Street, Totton (3-minute walk from the train station)

Contract: 4 days week role up to 32 hours per week

Salary: £12.63 per hour

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner, you will:

Create engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning environments

Promote cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the nursery

Support the key person approach, building secure relationships with children

Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth daily operations

Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement

Uphold the EYFS framework and nursery policies

✅ What You’ll Need

Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification – Essential

Experience with under 2s – Essential

Fluent English (written and spoken) – Essential

1+ Year in Early Years – Desirable

Knowledge of EYFS & Safeguarding – Desirable
