The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

On behalf on a highly successful and establish main contractor, we are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Electrician to join our growing team working across housing and commercial projects from Oxford to Cambridge. This is a hands-on role involving 1st fix, 2nd fix, testing, inspection, fault finding, and final commissioning ready for handover. You will be working closely with site teams while also being confident working independently. As part of a small team, duties will include:
* Carry out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations.
* Attending residential properties to repair and maintain electrical installations and appliances.
* Conduct EICR Test & Inspect works on occupied properties and new build commercial sites.
* Small-scale installation works
* Identify and report additional defects to the Defects Manager
* Communicate effectively with site teams.
* Work collaboratively while maintaining high standards.
About You:
* Hold 2391 Test & Inspect qualification.
* JIB Gold Card (or equivalent)
* Have minimum 4 years previous experience as a qualified electrician.
* Be available to work Monday – Friday, full-time.
* Hold full UK driving licence.
