The Role
We are seeking a progression driven Electrical Design Engineer, who is looking for an opportunity that will offer a natural progression into leadership. The Electrical Design Engineer will work collaboratively with mechanical design, controls, and commissioning to provide all electrical design work via e-Plan. The Electrical Design Engineer will:
Design electrical wiring diagrams and single-line diagrams for bespoke machinery.
Produce accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Excel spreadsheets for handover to software and product engineering teams.
Support the electrical build and wiring of machinery, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
Calculate appropriate breaker sizes and electrical load requirements for low-power control systems.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this Electrical Design Engineer role you will need:
Experience of electrical design on any platform
Experience of electrical wiring for complex machinery
Desire to progress within your electrical design career
Strong communication skills and a methodical, detail-oriented approach
