TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Welsh medium primary school in Cardiff. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment, with a strong emphasis on Welsh language development and pupil engagement across all areas of learning.
The school is looking to take on a Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis from September 2026. The successful Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant will be supporting pupils within the classroom as well as delivering small group sessions, helping to promote engagement, confidence, and progress through the Welsh language.
The successful Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Fluency in the Welsh language (essential)
• Experience working within a primary school setting
• Experience supporting children in a classroom and small group setting
• A strong understanding of supporting pupil development
• A positive and proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
