Salary/Package: £26,436 - £35,000, (Dependant on Quals & Experience) with 10% bonus, 23 days + Banks, Pension
Purpose of the role
We're looking for an experienced Assembly Operator to join a busy manufacturing team assembling high-quality cooling and HVAC equipment.
Are you a Qualified Plumber or HVAC Improver?
If you can Braze, we can teach the gas filling. We can look at newly qualified engineers that have dealt with brazing during their training
The Role
Assemble cooling equipment and associated components to engineering drawings and specifications.
Carry out brazing, tubing, mechanical assembly, and fitting work.
Perform leak testing, pressure testing, and quality inspections.
Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and health & safety.
Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams.
What We're Looking For
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (minimum).
Previous experience assembling cooling, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment.
Experience with brazing and mechanical assembly.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Good understanding of manufacturing safety procedures.
F-Gas certification would be advantageous but is not essential.
