TeacherActive is excited to be working with a spectacular Welsh Primary School located in Blackwood who are very proud of their pupils, the high standards they reach and their contribution within their community. The primary strive to create an environment where pupils are excited to learn by developing creative strategies that will inspire their pupils to achieve greatness.
The Primary School are looking for a fluent Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant on a full time, long term basis. The successful candidate will need to be able to speak the Welsh language fluently and will need to be experienced working with children in the Nursery class. You will need to be flexible between the working times of 08:30am – 15:30pm and be able to get stuck in with the schooling life, ensuring all pupils are engaged in their learning.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
A Teaching Assistant/Childcare qualification OR at least 6 months experience working with children
Fluent verbal and written Welsh
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Ability to build valued and trusted relationships with students
A can-do, positive attitude and approach to their work
Patience and ability to remain calm under stressful situations
