Social Worker - Children & Families

East Kent - Permanent

Salary up to £44,000/annum

Our Client, outstanding in their recent Ofsted inspection, is looking for a skilled and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join their team in a residential family centre setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of vulnerable families through high-quality assessments and support planning within a caring and nurturing environment.

To be considered, you will have full right to work in the UK and will live in East Kent.

The Social Worker job:

Manage a realistic caseload of families, coordinating assessments and placement plans and offering the highest level of support.
Conduct community and viability assessments when required.
Collaborate with professionals across social care, health, and education.
Supervise staff and contribute to their development.
Attend court, reviews, and professional meetings.
Ensure safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation are followed.
Produce high-quality reports and maintain accurate records.The Person:

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
Strong understanding of child protection, residential care regulations, and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including participation in the on-call rota and shift work.Why Apply?
