They are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their field-based team, covering commercial and industrial sites across the South of England.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and commissioning of a range of refrigeration systems, including chillers, cold rooms, display cases and industrial refrigeration equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain and commission commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults.
* Fault-find compressors, condensers, evaporators and control systems.
* Attend breakdowns and service calls, minimising customer downtime.
* Carry out refrigerant leak detection and repairs in line with F-Gas regulations.
* Replace faulty components and ensure systems operate efficiently.
* Complete service reports, timesheets and refrigerant logs.
* Provide technical advice and support to customers.
* Maintain high standards of health and safety and customer service.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer.
* Strong commercial or industrial refrigeration experience.
* F-Gas qualification – essential.
* NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems and controls.
* Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with HFCs, HFOs, CO₂, ammonia or other refrigerants would be advantageous.
