Temporary Finance Assistant Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
Processing supplier invoices accurately and promptly to ensure timely payments and vendor satisfaction
Liaising with internal managers to secure invoice approvals in line with company policies
Handling staff and expense claims, ensuring compliance with financial procedures and policies
Reconciling monthly credit card statements and ensuring all receipts are collected and accurate
Communicating with suppliers to reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies efficiently
Raising purchase orders to support procurement processes
Supporting accounts receivable activities, including cash matching and managing customer queries
Assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks, participating in projects, and system improvement initiatives

Temporary Finance Assistant Experience Essentials
Prior experience in finance or accounts administration, especially invoice processing
Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel
Experience using Xero accounting software is desirable
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Location
This is a fully office-based role with secure parking available onsite. The role requires commuting by public transport or car, with flexibility for travel arrangements as needed.
