About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Operative / Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team working across sites in and around Basingstoke.
This is a hands-on outdoor role involving a mix of soft and hard landscaping duties. You will work as part of a team delivering high-quality external works on residential and commercial sites.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is looking to build a long-term career in landscaping or construction.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general landscaping and grounds maintenance duties across multiple sites.
Assist with hard landscaping works including paving, edging and fencing.
Undertake soft landscaping tasks such as planting, turfing and soil preparation.
Load and unload materials and equipment safely.
Operate hand tools and small plant equipment where required.
Ensure sites are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
Work collaboratively with other team members and follow site instructions.
Adhere to all health & safety procedures and company guidelines.
Requirements
Previous landscaping or construction experience (preferred but not essential).
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Reliable, punctual and a good team player.
Valid UK driving licence (preferred).
Right to work in the UK.
