DV Cleared Infrastructure Test Engineers (x2)

📍 Location: Onsite - Hampshire
📅 Contract: Initial 12-Month Contract
💰 Rate: £500-£600 per day (Outside IR35)
🔒 Security Clearance: Active DV Clearance Required

We are currently seeking two experienced DV Cleared Infrastructure Test Engineers / Test SMEs to support a high-profile, secure infrastructure programme within a complex and mission-critical environment.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the delivery assurance of critical infrastructure platforms and services, providing hands-on testing expertise across the full test lifecycle. Successful candidates will be responsible for planning, executing and assuring infrastructure testing activities while working closely with engineering, architecture and service delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review and execute Infrastructure Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Scripts and Test Cases.
Perform functional, integration, system, performance and operational testing across complex infrastructure environments.
Manage defects throughout the full lifecycle, including identification, logging, tracking and validation of fixes.
Produce comprehensive test evidence, reporting and assurance documentation.
Validate infrastructure deployments against technical, operational and business requirements.
Support test readiness reviews, execution activities and operational acceptance processes.
Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineers, Architects, Service Delivery teams and third-party suppliers.
Identify testing risks, issues and dependencies, providing mitigation recommendations where required.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies and tooling.

Essential Experience

Active DV Clearance (mandatory).
Proven experience delivering infrastructure testing within secure, complex or enterprise-scale environments.
Strong understanding of the full testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect management and reporting.
Experience producing test strategies, test plans, scripts and supporting test evidence.
Hands-on experience with functional, non-functional and performance testing.
Ability to work independently within highly secure environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Technical Experience

Infrastructure Test SME - Virtual Desktop & Windows Technologies

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms.
Windows Server administration and infrastructure testing.
Proxy services and proxy chaining technologies.
Enterprise authentication and access management solutions.
End-user computing and desktop service validation.

Infrastructure Test SME - DNS & Virtualisation

DNS infrastructure and associated enterprise services.
VMware vSphere and virtualisation platforms.
Infrastructure services testing and validation.
Enterprise network services and platform testing.
Performance, resilience and failover testing within virtualised environments.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced DV Cleared Infrastructure Test professionals to contribute to a strategically important programme, working within a highly secure and technically challenging environment
