About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for Production Operatives to join our team in the Folding Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating folding machinery to produce high-quality metalwork in line with engineering drawings and production specifications.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, working a 2-on, 2-off shift pattern, from 5:00 am to 4:50 pm.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
* Set up and operate CNC folding machines to produce high-quality components in line with customer and business requirements.
* Adjust machine settings and tooling to achieve accurate bends and folds to specification.
* Fold and form sheet metal components in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and production documentation.
* Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards and specifications.
* Consistently achieve daily production, quality and utilisation targets.
* Work safely at all times, following company health and safety procedures and best working practices
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
* Previous experience operating CNC folding or press brake machinery is preferred.
* Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements.
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
* Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
