Key Responsibilities:
You'll play an important role in producing high-quality precision components by:
Setting up and operating CNC turning machines
Programming CNC machines using G-code and making machine adjustments where required
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
Selecting the correct tooling, fixtures, and materials
Inspecting finished components using precision measuring equipment
Maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards
Troubleshooting machining issues to minimise downtime
Following health and safety procedures while maintaining a clean workspace
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience as a CNC Turner
A strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling
Experience reading engineering drawings and technical specifications
CNC programming knowledge, ideally with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazatrol controls
Experience using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
