Electromechanical position in nature, but electrical skills are the most important, that will see you support with both design and build / testing of equipment.

This Electrical Engineer job will suit:

A proven Engineer with electrical projects experience.
*
Familiarity with mechanical CAD design (Solidworks) would be useful, but mechanical aspects can be taught for the right individual.
*
Wider experience supporting projects from concept through to design.
*
Flexible in nature, sometimes the role will be design focused, other stages of the project will require more hands-on support with regards to testing, assembly etc.
*
PCB Design would be advantageous, but not essential.

The Electrical Engineer job will involve:

Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD (Solidworks)

Design and support electrical/electronic subsystems (PCB layout coordination, wiring harnesses, sensors etc)

Build and test prototypes
*
Select components and materials based on cost, manufacturability, and performance
*
Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
