Can you turn a good account, into a great one?

Our client, a well-established, well-respected, and rapidly growing name in satellite communications and technology solutions, is expanding their sales team as it continues to invest in growth and its people.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative sales environment where account management, business development, technical, and customer support teams work closely together to deliver a joined-up customer experience. The focus is on understanding the customers’ business, building strong relationships, and identifying genuine opportunities to help them get more from their technology solutions.

They’re looking for experienced Account Managers and Business Development Managers who want to take ownership of a portfolio, develop customer relations, and drive growth.

What you’ll be doing:

Managing and growing a portfolio of channel partner or end-user accounts, becoming a trusted advisor to key decision-makers
Identifying growth, upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and building clear account plans
Keeping CRM and pipeline data accurate and using it to drive proactive follow-up
Working closely with business development, operations, technical, and finance colleagues to deliver a joined-up customer experience
Building long-term relationships and developing a deep understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
What they are looking for:

A combination of business development and account management mindset – someone who can both hunt and farm
Curiosity, energy, and a genuine desire to understand customers and their business
Strong communication and relationship building skills
A proven track record in account management or B2B sales, ideally in a technology, telecoms or channel environment, although industry experience isn’t essential
A proactive, self-starting approach and the confidence to identify and pursue new opportunities

Good basic salary with a generous, multi-layered commission structure – OTE typically up to 30% on top
